Growth & Confidence

The highlight of my day would have to be finally somewhat getting down the one-handed 45 toss. I actually broke a sweat after church and lunch, tossing outside. I also spent a portion of my day trying to get supplies for band camp, which starts tomorrow. The idea of band camp starting tomorrow excites me in a way where I'm also not excited. It's probably because this is going to be my fourth year in and I already know how things run. I think about how we may sit in a circle on the auditorium stage tomorrow and introduce each of ourselves. I think about how 4 years ago, I couldn't do it without being extremely shy and shelled. Tomorrow, I'm excited to be energetic, confident, and proud. I love the thought of how much I've grown as a person in the past 4 years, thanks to band as a start.
